不建议用什么apple，这种用典在非英语国家很没有意义，说了又不一定看得懂，还有故弄玄虚的嫌疑。在自己英语水平有限的情况下能够表达让别人理解自己的意思，才是一种成功。

apple of one's eye" 这一词最早出现於圣经里：诗篇17:8：Keep me as the 'apple of the eye' , hide me under the shadow of thy wings;《申命记》三十三章的第十节：In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the 'apple of his eye'。
