I got up early and helped my mother cook breakfast. Then I washed the dishes and cleaned the room. At nine o'clock I went shopping with my parents by car. There was traffic jam so the car moved slowly. It took us about an hour to get to Wumart. We bought lots of food and drink because Spring Festival was coming. In the afternoon I visited my friends and payed table tennis with them. I surfed the internet and read books in the evening. I didn't go to bed until half past ten. What a meaningful day !
1. Everyone has friends,and Tom is my best friend. He is my classmate.He is 13 years old. Tom is tall and thin,he has big eyes. He is one of the best students in my class. He is friendly and always help others. He has a lot of hobbies, such as collecting stamps, playing basketball and reading books. He often play with me and other friends after school. He is really an active and good boy.
2.Traffic is not of too much concerns in our city. I think it is because of the size of our city. I heard traffics in those big cities are terrible in rush hours; however, fortunately, it doesn't seem like a problem here. Lately, a lot of construction areas in downtown slow the traffic down a little bit, but they are scheduled to be finished in September. After the constructions, we will have a safer road condition in downtown area. I believe this will reduce the number of car accidents in our city and thus improve the traffic efficiency.
My best friend
I have many friend,I love them and they love me,too.But my best friend is only Amy.She lives in the south of the city.We often play together,I went to her home yesterday,her room is beautiful!Last week is my birthday,she gave me a surprise,I was most surprised!Her birthday is on next week Sunday,I planed to give her a surprise,too.But I have just heared that she will go to Beijing next Sunday!So I can only give gifts advance.I belive she will be very happy!
