how to teach English

if you want to teach English well you have to be interested in English first. since interest is the best teacher, you can infect your students with your passion. to get your students excited about learning English you can get to know their habits and favourites and teach them how to express them in English, thus they can accept the language as a part of their lives. the second important thing is encouragement. whenever they memorize some hard words or long sentences or use the grammar correctly, don't forget to praise, they need them to make a second step with confidence. after teaching English with passion in various ways, i believe both you and your students can make big progress.

Use stories to teach English，Stories as a technique are popular in primary school English teaching. Stories are motivating and fun. They provide a meaningful context and exercise children’s imagination. English tutors should know how to use them in English teaching.
