请教SAT语法问题

主语指代主语是这样的：
如果两个分句之间没有标点，只要能找到符合逻辑的指代对象就可以，但如果是 SVO, pron＋VO就必须主语指代主语，宾语指代宾语。这是比较严格的书面语，估计只有考sat的才知道。。。所以楼上的＝－＝
楼主的理解应该没问题。。

两个句子中的who指代的既可能是 "the son" ，也可能是 "my teacher”。 属指代不明。

2. predict 的宾语从句可以用将来时。

--------此说毫无依据！

是语义和语用在决定，绝不存在"在并列句中，主语指代主语，宾语指代宾语"之说。
在During the labor, potatoes were empited across the highway, and they thereby blocked all traffic. 中，主语 they 指代上句中的主语 potatoes。they 只能指 potatoes，与各自都做了主语毫无关系。除了potatoes 这个复数名词在下句中能，也该用复数的 they 指代外，还有任何其他复数的名词吗？ 这与都做了主语有何关系？没有！

It is hard for some young people to believe that women were at one time not admitted to some “colleges, but they have since become coeducational.”

仅就引号部分而言，无错！(无“在并列句中，主语指代主语，宾语指代宾语”之说。) they 指代的是 colleges，语义告诉我们，只有 colleges (复数) 才能 co-educational。即：..., but they (the colleges) since have become co-educational. 岂能说 the women have since become co-educational？

"colleges, but they have since become coeducational." 没有指代不明的问题！(they 指代的不是 women， 而是 colleges)

I like the book, but it is out of stock in that bookstore.
这是个并列句吧！the book 是宾语，it 是主语。哪里存在"在并列句中，主语指代主语，宾语指代宾语"之说？

I have put the books back on the shelf, and by the way they are too difficult for beginners.
这是个并列句吧！the books 作宾语，they 作主语。哪里有"在并列句中，主语指代主语，宾语指代宾语"之说？
