由普通名词构成的专有名词前面要定冠词the，比如：the USA = the United States 美国，the Great Wall 长城，the Forbidden City 紫禁城等等，但是在专有名词China, England 前面不要加the。

有不同部分或联邦组成的国家，前面加定冠词the.
例如：
英国
the UK=the United Kingdom of Great Brtain and the Northern Irland
俄罗斯联邦共和国
the Russian Federal Republic

因为 the USA =the United State of America ...英国的里一个别称也要加的就是 the UK
