stay /crouch/stand  in the corner

    crouch in a corner 一般就是比较憋屈的那种蹲，缩在角落里

    哈，牛津高阶词典里有一张图示截下来给你看。

    但是这个"靠在"的意思应该是让人老老实实的贴着墙角吧，这样用stay就可以了; 如果是指的把身体的重量倚在墙上，那就说 [lean against the wall in the corner]

    另外墙角用[in the corner]是合适的。

关于corner，

若是墙角一类向里凹的内侧的角，也就是“负隅顽抗”的“隅”，用in. 所以这层意思上 [in a corner]有时也有一个引申义，就是“困境”; 摆脱困境就可以说[get out of the corner]

外侧形成的如桌角\街角 如 at a street corner 美国用on

所以蹲墙角就是in了 。

pick sb. up at the hospital / to leave the hospital

1. squat down/ put your hands on your head.(cover your head with your hands)
2. lean on/ squat down/ stand by the corner
3.lie down and face downward/ pick sb to get out of the hospital

3 down/meet someone from the hospital
