As a high school senior who is about to enter college, I understand how to choose the paths for my future. I applied for Hong Kong University because I would like to develop my individual skills. Only when I have strong ability to decide my future, can I truely pursue my dream. I may not have an ideal transcript for high school, however, the examination only exposes a small aspect of me. In the last 12 years of my student career, I especially emphasized on the developement of personal skills and on understanding through experimental procedures. I much prefered to think independently, to do things in innovative ways. I have developed my leardership qualities and am very comfortable in daily socializing. So I would very much hope that Hong Kong University can provide me with a path to my future by educating me as a well-rounded person who would excell later on in my life.
